The Colorado Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CoAND) exists to energize and uplift the naturopathic profession in Colorado. We represent all Naturopathic Doctors (NDs) in Colorado, providing legislative support and title protection through DORA, professional development and continuing education opportunities, and, because so many NDs practice alone or in small clinics, we serve as a connecting point for NDs to meet with each other, as well as grow their individual practices. Our desire is to provide more Coloradans with access to Naturopathic Doctors and Naturopathic Medicine, so that they may enjoy the benefits of this natural and holistic approach to health.

In 2020, CoAND successfully renewed legislation to keep NDs legally registered in the state of Colorado for the next nine years. Naturopathic Doctor Scope of Practice

Since 2013, a cumulative number of more than 200 Naturopathic Doctors have registered to practice in Colorado.

Naturopathic Medicine

Naturopathic Medicine is a distinct system of medicine that skillfully combines natural therapeutic traditions with modern science to restore and optimize health.

Registered NDs are trained to diagnose and treat patients of all ages, genders, and conditions. During a naturopathic medical visit, a comprehensive biological, psychological, and social history is obtained. A physical exam and diagnostic tests may be included to reach an accurate medical diagnosis.
